Recently the nation celebrated the 250th anniversary of the Battles of Lexington and Concord, the beginning of the American Revolution and the nation to gain our independence and freedom.
Since then, we have fought 10 wars around the world and hundreds of thousands of men and women have died to maintain the freedoms that those people who fought in the American revolution gained for us.
Unfortunately, there have been times when Americans have not appreciated the sacrifice of these brave people.
106 years ago, today at the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month of the year 1918, World War 1 ended. This was supposed to be the war to end all wars. Unfortunately, it wasn’t.
I want to thank all of our military for their work in preserving our ability to have news agencies free from government control and the ability to speak our minds without fear of being thrown in jail for having an opinion that is different from the people in power in the government regardless of the level.
Again, I want to thank those in the military and their families for their work and sacrifice so we can live the way our founding fathers designed our country to allow us to.
Sincerely,
