Friends,
The momentum we are feeling on the ground keeps building. This past weekend, we had one of our strongest weekends yet, knocking more than 18,500 doors across every corner of this district. We also had the honor of having NYS Comptroller Tom DiNapoli and Congressman Jim Himes out on the trail with us.
We also had the privilege of welcoming former Congresswoman Gabby Giffords to Nyack this week to talk about community safety and gun violence prevention. Community safety means ensuring we have commonsense gun safety laws in place, that our law enforcement has the resources to keep our communities safe, and ensuring that we have proper mental health resources for our communities.
Community safety also means ensuring families have the basics, like food. I was honored to join Gabby Giffords and Mayor Joe Rand in visiting Soup Angels, bringing over donations from our campaign event.
The stakes of this race could not be higher. We are fighting for an America that once again works for working people.
Our path to victory is clear, but in a race this close it is going to take everything we’ve got over these next 26 days. That means knocking doors, making calls, and talking directly to voters about what is at stake in this election: affordable groceries, lower utility costs, and quality healthcare accessible to everyone.
Let’s go finish what we started.
With gratitude and fire,
Cait Conley
