A Rockland County woman is starting the new year as a multimillionaire after winning a $10 million top prize on a New York Lottery scratch-off ticket.
According to the New York Lottery, Beatrix Maria Bulson of Stony Point claimed the top prize on the $10,000,000 Cash scratch-off game. The winning ticket was purchased at Stony’s Food N’ News, a local convenience store in Stony Point.
Bulson chose the one-time lump sum payment option, receiving $4,211,980 after mandatory withholdings, rather than annual payments over time.
Lottery officials announced the win in December 2025, noting that the $10 million prize is one of the largest scratch-off jackpots recently claimed by a Rockland County resident.
The New York Lottery continues to remind players that lottery proceeds help support public education programs throughout New York State.
