New City, NY – Rockland County is proud to announce that the Miss New York and Miss New York’s Teen Competition will take place in Rockland County from June 25 through June 27, bringing more than 50 of the state’s most talented and inspiring young women to the region for a week of competition, cultural exchange, and community engagement.

“We are proud to welcome the Miss New York and Miss New York’s Teen Competition to Rockland County. This event showcases our vibrant community and the best of what our region has to offer,” said County Executive Ed Day.

“Hosting Miss New York in Rockland is a great opportunity to highlight our small businesses, culture, and the RCC Cultural Arts Theater, while showcasing the pride and energy of our community,” added Jenna Nazario, Economic Development Director Jenna Nazario.

The multi-day event will be hosted at the Rockland Community College (RCC) Cultural Arts Theater, with ticketed competition events scheduled for Thursday, Friday, and Saturday evenings. Rockland Community College expressed pride in serving as the host venue for the competition.

“Rockland Community College is proud to host the Miss New York Pageant at the Cultural Arts Theater, an event that celebrates the remarkable talent, dedication, and ambition of its participants. It also offers a powerful opportunity to showcase the beauty and versatility of our theater, highlighting its potential as a premier destination for arts, culture, and community events in Rockland County,” said Rockland Community College President Dr. William P. Mullaney.

The Miss New York Scholarship Organization noted the importance of the partnership and Rockland’s hospitality.

“We are absolutely thrilled and honored to bring the Miss New York Competition to Rockland County this June,” said Sloane Lewis, Executive Director, Miss New York Scholarship Organization. “The county and the leadership at Rockland Community College have shown immense support and commitment to making it an unforgettable experience for our contestants, their families, and the audience in this wonderful community.”

Beyond the stage, contestants will have the opportunity to experience Rockland County’s unique character and charm through a series of immersive local activities. Through these activities, contestants will share their journey in real time across social media, offering a national audience a glimpse into Rockland County as a vibrant destination filled with creativity, culture, and strong small business pride.

In many cases, contestants will be traveling from out of state, with family and friends also visiting, further extending the county’s visibility as a welcoming and dynamic host community.
