Massive Fire Engulfs Wolfe Drive Home in Spring Valley

Rockland Post Desk

Early Tuesday morning, firefighters from multiple Rockland County departments responded to a large structure fire at 1 Wolfe Drive in Spring Valley. Flames quickly consumed the 2½‑story wood-frame residence, sending thick smoke visible from miles around. A neighboring home suffered smoke and water damage, but the primary structure was heavily damaged.

No injuries have been reported, and authorities have not released the names of any occupants or the homeowner. Fire investigators are still determining the cause of the blaze.

The home had been listed in county property records as a multi-family residence, but it’s unclear whether it was occupied at the time of the fire. Fire crews from across the county worked to contain the flames, showing a major mobilization effort.
