100 new residents were recently sworn in at a Naturalization Ceremony officiated by Rockland County Clerk Donna Silberman at the Rockland County Fire Training Center in Pomona. Deputy County Executive Mike Hoblin represented County Executive Ed Day at the kickoff of Rockland Community College’s Nursing Simulation Lab expansion. With $3 million in federal funding, RCC is doubling the size of its lab and creating a state-of-the-art simulation center to give nursing students hands-on, real-world training. This investment strengthens healthcare workforce development and supports the next generation of professionals serving Rockland County.
