The Clarkstown Vikings Special Olympics Floorball team had an impressive showing at the Hudson Valley Special Olympics Regional Floorball Tournament, held at Hendrick Hudson High School in Montrose, NY.
The Vikings opened strong, defeating the 721K Knights 1-0 in Game 1 and following up with a decisive 15-4 victory over the Superstorm in Game 2. In a hard-fought final matchup, the Vikings fell 5-1 to the 993Q Tigers 
, earning the Silver Medal for their effort.
Coach Klein said,“Our proud team played their hearts out, and no matter the outcome, we’re all winners,” He added “The team showcased great skill, teamwork, and sportsmanship, leaving the competition with big smiles and proud hearts”.
