UNDATED — The Boulders’ four-game winning streak came to an abrupt end Monday
afternoon in Ottawa, where they were pummeled by the Titans, 14-1.
New York (7-3) managed just six hits on the day, including an RBI single by CF Henry Garcia in the top of the second inning that made the score 3-1 after Ottawa (7-3) had taken the lead n 1B Kaiden Cardoso’s three-run double in the bottom of the first.
The Titans added five runs in the sixth inning, then iced their Victoria Day cake with a six-run bottom of the eighth.
After an off-day Tuesday, the Boulders will look to get back on track. First pitch Wednesday morning at Ottawa Stadium is scheduled for 11:00am EDT.
Also of note:
- C John Schroeder’s eighth inning double was the Boulders’ only extra-base hit of the game
