LOCATION OF INCIDENT: 252 Rt 303 Orangeburg, NY 10962 DESCRIPTION OF INCIDENT:
On Saturday, December 13th 2025 at approximately 9:05 PM, The Orangetown Police Department responded to the area of
252 NY-Route 303 for a report of a motor vehicle collision involving a pedestrian.
Upon officer’s arrival, it was determined that the pedestrian involved sustained serious injuries. South Orangetown Ambulance Corps and Rockland Paramedics responded to the scene and administered medical care to the pedestrian. The pedestrian was transported to Nyack Hospital by South Orangetown Ambulance Corps where he was pronounced deceased. The deceased has been identified as 45-year-old William Huertas of Haverstraw, New York.
The motor vehicle collision is currently under investigation by The Orangetown Police Department Accident Investigation Team. Anyone who may have witnessed the collision or anyone who may have additional information is asked to contact the Orangetown Police at 845-359-3700.
