LETTER TO THE EDITOR: A Constituent voices his/her concerns about President Trump

I wrote my Congressman this morning through his official portal:

There was o name on this just a post that was sent from a Facebook page

Dear Congressman Lawler,
Reasonable people of different political ideologies can agree that the President’s actions, directives, and behaviors are in stark contrast to what our founding fathers envisioned for this country. The president’s November 2nd comments on 60 Minutes in response to Nora O’Donell’s question on ICE tactics going too far was to say ICE isn’t going far enough.

This person doesn’t go far enough into the interview. He/she doesn’t mention that the reason Trump gave for his statement is that their efforts are being held back by the liberal judges who were put in by Biden and Obama. He also said this is because you have to get the people out. “You have to look at the people. Many of the are murderers. Many were thrown out of their country because they were criminals.”

Clearly, he believes that given the recent violence and deaths in Minnesota, (he/she doesn’t say what President Trump believes, just makes a blanket statement with no facts to back it up) Trump has said that these deaths are a tragedy. the President’s threats to Greenland, (in the meantime, his “threats” dealing with Greenland has caused Denmark to give us exactly what we wanted and needed to protect Europe and the Western Hemisphere. This is called as Trump called his book “The Art of the Deal”. These are all business tactics, not threats.) his appeasement of Putin, (again here, blanket statement with no facts on how he has appeased Putin)his bullying and name calling, his attacks on national policy makers, (again, a statement that leavers out information… how about the attacks by these national policy makers on Trump) and his overall rhetoric have been nothing short of irresponsible (If you want to talk about irresponsible rhetoric, let’s talk about their attempt to coerce the military to disobey Trump’s lawful orders which they called unlawful) and unproductive and don’t further the interests of the United States.

Mr. Lawler, I am afraid for this country, my friends, my neighbors, and most importantly for my children and their eventual families. (I was afraid for my children and our future during the Biden administration as millions of illegal aliens came into this country including terrorists, murderers, drug dealers and cartel gangsters) Reasonable people of different political ideologies can agree that criminal ‘illegals’ should be removed from this country – through judicial process, (the people ICE is going after have deportation warrants against them and others have been convicted of crimes here – so they HAVE gone through the judicial process – have others been arrested and deported, yes. But these people were harboring the criminals and were here illegally themselves.) and that the methods and actions of ICE do not jive with our democracy and justice system. (The methods they use are NECESSARY because of democrat government officials not cooperating with and others in ILLEGALLY blocking ICE officers from doing their job. As well as the lamestream media egging them on, jumping to conclusions when things happen without waiting for the investigation to take place to see EXACTLY what happened and why)

With regard to racial injustice, Dr. MLK Jr. said in his Letter from Birmingham, that it’s not the “KKK” which is the great stumbling block to freedom, but “…the white moderate who is more devoted to order than to justice.” Different times, but the message couldn’t apply more today.

Mr. Lawler, I implore you to work with your colleagues to CLEARLY call out President Trump and his administration on their actions. You and your colleagues are enabling the greatest threat to democracy, world order, and safety this country has seen since the Civil War. Congressman, using Dr. King’s quote from above, President Trump is the “KKK” and you are the “white moderate” – I am sure that didn’t get lost on you. History will not be kind to the President and those who enable him.  Act now, please.

It is the rhetoric of the people who oppose Trump and his fixing this country from the mess that the Biden Administration created who are the danger to the country. Calling people Nazis and Gestapo dehumanizes them and gives people the “excuse” to attack and even murder them. You are even using this rhetoric by calling Trump the KKK. What rhetoric has Trump used that is inflaming violence? What has he done that has hurt this country and threatened this Constitutional Republic? As far as history, it will be very kind to President Trump. His closing of the border, making the country strong again, stopping 8 wars around the world, revitalizing the economy that Biden destroyed, giving the average American more money in their pockets through the Big Beautiful Law, (No tax on tips, no tax on overtime and no tax on social security, as well as 4.4% GDP growth in the third quarter of 2025.

There is nothing to act on if you want to Make and keep America Great. President Trump has brought this country from being a laughing stock like it was under Biden. Our enemies fear us again as is evident by the attack on and destruction of the Iranian nuclear sites. The capture of the criminal Maduro. The blowing up of the drug boats that were bringing loads of death in the way of drugs to the USA. He has negotiated the end of 8 wars around the world. Our allies are more trusting of us and are working with us instead of taking advantage of us. The democrats say that the rich in this country should be taxed more to get them to pay their fair share of the taxes. They are quiet about European nations who were not paying THEIR fair share of the NATO defense budget. President Trump has gotten them to pay 5% of their GDP towards their own defense.

People say that the democrats on the national level allowed all of the people into the country are doing this because they want to regain power and keep it in perpetuity. Are they? I don’t know. Only they do, but their actions do point in that direction.
