Parolee Kim Vasquez Made Threats Toward Rockland Co. Clerk Piperato’s Office

CLARKSTOWN –  Rockland Sheriff’s Dept arrested Kim Vasquez, 37-year-old male from Austin TX on charges of making terrorist threat (felony) and aggravated harassment (misdeameanor)

Rockland County Sheriff Louis Falco announced the arrest of Vasquez after he was alleged to have made threats of a terroristic nature and aggrevated harassment toward Rockland County Clerk Paul Piperato’s office. The threats were made through the Rockland County Clerk’s office website.

At the time of the alleged use of criminal language, the sheriff said Vasquez was on New York State parole and his supervision was being monitored by the state of Texas since he relocated to Austin, Texas.

The investigation alleges that not only did Vasquez make threats against the Rockland County Clerk’s Office, he had left parole supervision in Texas and was arrested here in Congers, NY (Rockland).

Vasquez was arraigned by Clarkstown Justice Howard Gerber in Town Justice Court and he was remanded to the county jail without bail.

Vasquez is also being charged with violating the conditions of his parole, added Sheriff Falco.

Vasquez will return to court on a March 18.
